In one hour, I'll be stone dead!
(Danish review of the book.)
Description: (...) It's a very strong and direct theater, that also works for Radio, but of course has it's full potential when played by a intense and competent actor - like the author himself, who played it at Entré Scenen and Kaleidoskop K1.
Comparison: I have not knowledge of a modern play that goes so directly to the biggest taboo of hour time: death.
(Danish review of the show from 2007 based on the play.)
"There are evenings at the theater. There are actually many evenings at the theater, sometimes too many. But that's the critics job. But there are also the unusual; those that one didn't expect. Evenings that take you by surprise. It happened last Saturday.
(...)
If the play sounds sentimental, it's just because the critic is sentimental. Limal is anything but that. A little exotic beautifully speaking discovery. As a writer as well as an actor. It was suddenly one of these evenings, one of the few, that just takes you by surprise. Or more precisely, that beat you right into your face. One way or another. Surprisingly and happily. An artistic knockout at Kaleidoskop."

"The acting, the text, the direction and the music stand together in an interesting way. 'Nothing' happens and yet 'everything' happens. (...) 'In one hour, I'll be dead drunk' is one of these type of play, that you will love more and more as time goes. The very peculiarity of the show, as well as its both very simple and advanced form, makes you discover nuances and layers, that makes you want to see it again. For what it can, what it does and what it wants."
- Kirsten Dahl - Århus Stifstidende
"The play is not the real story experienced by the playwright. It's a very poetic, introvert play, about sexuality and lust for women, "women are the only dieting for a long life", about vanity, a father-son relationship and friends and surrounding repression of the irreversible. (...) beautifully played."
